That all may come to know...

Our Faith Covenant

We invite all members and regular attenders who have received Christ as Lord and Savior to covenant with the North Clinton church family.  The covenant requires no more than what the scripture teaches about being a follower of Jesus [contact us for scriptural resources]. Those who covenant, commit themselves to:

GROW STRONGER THROUGH WORSHIP.
Therefore, I commit myself to make God the center of my life:
»by worshiping God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.
   »by attending services faithfully.
»by offering myself and my worship as a pleasing service to God, for God’s honor and benefit.

GROW WARMER THROUGH FELLOWSHIP.
Therefore, I commit myself to promote the unity of the church:
»by loving and caring for the members of God’s family.
»by striving to develop deeper relationships and accountability with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
»by praying for and trusting our leaders as they discern God’s direction for our church.
»by solving conflicts through peaceful, non-violent means.

GROW MORE GENEROUS THROUGH MINISTRY.
Therefore, I commit myself to serve the ministry of our church:
   »by developing a servant’s heart.
»by discovering, developing and offering my spiritual gifts.
»by actively volunteering, participating, or providing leadership in the work and programs of the church.
   »by giving regularly.

GROW DEEPER THROUGH DISCIPLESHIP.
Therefore, I commit myself to become more like Jesus Christ:
   »by praying daily.
   »by reading the Bible faithfully.
»by using the Bible as my guide for living.
   »by following Christ’s teachings.

GROW LARGER THROUGH OUTREACH.
Therefore, I commit myself to reach out to those who do not have a relationship with Christ:
»by remembering that we all need to experience God’s love, forgiveness and reconciliation.
»by sharing my faith in Christ and by encouraging others to follow Him.
»by inviting and warmly welcoming the unchurched
